How a reviewer verifies you

Give your Bar enrolment number, use your company email, or both — at least one.

Not Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, Hotmail, iCloud, Rediffmail, Proton or another personal provider — those cannot show which firm you are with.

At least 12 characters. This also unlocks your message key, so nobody here can reset it for you; the recovery key on the next screen is the only way back in without it. A suggested passphrase is stronger than most chosen ones.

Two sets of terms exist — one for practising partners, one for employed advocates and clerks — and which one binds you follows from your rank in a firm, not from your seat on a matter. You are about to become the managing partner of your own chambers, and you may later join another firm as an employee, so both are here and you accept both.

Both documents are DRAFT: their headings are set, the text under them is the owner's to supply and has not been reviewed by counsel. Which version you accepted is recorded against your account as it is created, and you will be asked again when the real text lands.

Accept the terms above to create your account.

Your enrolment number, or your company email, goes on file and your account waits for a reviewer to check it. A company email is confirmed first, by a link we send to it. Until the account is verified you can run clients, matters, files, the diary and your billing, but you cannot issue client links, email invoices, send hearing invites, or use Lawrio.
